The Fountain of youth 2

So we have figured out what our master hormone is right, if not go back and read.  So lets figure out  a couple other things, how is diabetes formed in us and what can it do?  Many believe that diabetes is an inherited disease but it is not strictly many people in the world today would not have diabetes if they had better diets and health habits.  So what does this have anything to do with a fountain of youth?  Well let me tell you through out decades bodybuilders and fitness athletes have learned to use insulin to do crazy things.  if you are not a diabetic their is still a natural way of doing this.  Many say that insulin ruined bodybuilding what those people don’t know is this they used it too, and are just not aware of it.  You see every-time sugar goes into the body insulin is released whether it is a carbohydrate or a sugar insulin is released.  Now here’s the difference lets say one person eats white rice and one person eats brown rice, What will happened?  Lets start with the white rice.  When someone eats white rice their is a huge spike in insulin because it is a short grain, many times when this much insulin is released our body will shut the pancreas down to prevent hypoglycemia (or better known as low blood sugar).    Then our blood sugar spikes and we get that burnt out tired feeling that many people get when they eat to much junk food.  When someone eats brown rice because of the long grains that are used the body can not break this down that fast so it is stored and assimilated as an energy source.  Have you ever noticed bodybuilders eating their carbs first  thing in the morning and immediately post workout,  Why do you think they do this?  Well its simple they are looking for the spike in insulin so that the blood and insulin still pumping from our workout and carbs will carry those amino acids into our muscle stores to prevent breakdown.  So its simple if you want to stay looking young learn how to control your blood sugar levels and you can control your weight.

preparation H and what its for?

I will be the first to tell you that when preparation H came out the owners never thought it could do such miracles.  Bodybuilders do not use prep. H for hemroids at all rather a tool for contest prep.  Prep H was made to suck the fluids out of things so it makes sense that if we were in prep for a show to use every advantage we could find.  Less water equals tighter skin,  Many bodybuilders put prep H all over their stomach and wrap with a heating pad during cardio to suck fluids out of the midsection.

Hold On

When I was a skinny kid just starting out, my ma said, “Hold on, son.” She thought I was too young, supplements too unhealthy. She thought bodybuilding wasn’t a respectable sport, let alone a profession… When some of my friends starting seeing my level of dedication, all the sacrifices I had to make, they said, “Hold on, man.” Maybe I wasn’t spending enough time partying with them, getting drunk every weekend. Maybe they weren’t my friends… When my past girlfriends learned how serious I was about bodybuilding, they said, “Hold on, baby.” They thought they had to compete against bodybuilding for my attention. They didn’t. But I couldn’t convince them otherwise… When I first dreamed of competing one day and took my fucking game to the next level, my training partner said, “Hold on, Camron.” He couldn’t keep up. Maybe he didn’t want to… After I started lifting, whenever I forgot why I got into this game, I told myself, “Hold on.” I didn’t start lifting to get back at the bullies who beat the living shit out of me after school… It wasn’t to be cool or popular… It wasn’t to get ass. Why’d I do it then? Shit, I did it for me. I do this because I was born to… It’s in my blood. This sport grounds me, gives my life meaning. Listen brothers, this shit is not for the faint of heart. Few can do what it takes. We are among those few. When you feel like you’re drowning, catch your breath. When you want to hang it up, stand firm. When you feel like you can’t diet another day, when it’s hard to pick yourself up off the couch, get the fuck up. People will want to knock you down. Temptations will try to hold you back. Obstacles will stand in your way. SMASH THE FUCK THROUGH ‘EM. This great journey begins with a step… Even if that step is nothing more than learning how to hold on…

Protein

protein-comic1.gifHow much protein should you take in?  An average person should take in at least 1 gram per pound of muscle mass just to stay healthy.  A bodybuilder on average takes in at least 1.5 grams per pound of muscle while I suggest taking in 2 grams per pound of body weight.  Make sure you talk to a doctor first but this is what I suggest…… For carbs tune in next week.

Koloseum Gym

What do you expect when you sign up at a gym?  should you magicly get in shape should the machines and cardio come to you and if not what should we do.  People walk into gyms every single day of the week buy memberships and then dont go for years at a time so why do we buy them, just to have them I sure hope not, we buy them because something in our head knows that if we exercise we can live longer look better and feel healthier.  So how do we get to the gym what motivation first and foremost its needs to be a place you enjoy going a place you feel comfortable.  I prefer Koloseum gym in Fullerton owned by IFBB pro Milos Sarcev it is a great place to train if you want to really focus and get your work done.  The Benefit of this gym is the knowledge and full health shop that is their their is also a juice bar cardio deck and a place for mma if you so choose.  So choose a place that works for you.  if your interested in a guest pass please email me or better yet go into the gym and check it out.

The Fountain Of Youth

Many people wonder why they gain weight or why they get fat, I will be the first to tell you it has nothing to do with your age.  Although this is very true that with age is the slowing of metabolism, but it is not impossible to stay ripped or lean and fit your whole life.  The secret Insulin.  Insulin is what we may call a master hormone it controls where amino acids go and how they are reached to that body for recovery purposes.  Lets think of it this way Insulin is a master Hormone it stores anything in the body.  So if we eat p nut butter the sugar in it then spikes the release of insulin and stores that fact, So lets just say no fat with sugar.  Does this mean that we should have sugar with protein, no its to basic insulin needs to be released to store the amino acids protein breaks down into so what should we do.  Tune in next week to find out……….
